Defence Technology Prize

DSO is proud to be a consistent recipient of the prestigious Defence Technology Prize (DTP) since its inception in 1989.

The DTP is the most prestigious award presented annually by the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) to outstanding teams and individuals who have contributed significantly towards enhancing the defence capabilities of Singapore.

The DTP has four categories - Individual Award (R&D), Individual Award (Engineering), Team Award (R&D), and Team Award (Engineering).

“We have built up a strong indigenous defence technology ecosystem to harness science and technology, and to turn ideas and concepts into cutting-edge and secret-edge systems and hardware for the SAF. Looking ahead, technology will continue to be a key enabler for the 3rd Generation SAF.”

Individual (Engineering) Award

Presented to individuals who have made remarkable contributions in pioneering innovative R&D for Singapore's defence science and technology.
