SAF NSmen of the Year

As a mark of his outstanding achievements in the call for national duty, DSO's Guided Systems Division Deputy Director Dr Chan Yew Wing was presented with the 2009 Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) National Serviceman (NSman) of the Year Award. He joins the ranks of previous NSmen of the Year Ong Kien Soo, Deputy Centre Head (Systems Engineering) and Chan Poh Keong, Head (Mechanical & Thermal Engineering Laboratory), who were honoured with the Award in 2008.

As a National Laboratory, DSO recognises the importance of National Service and Total Defence, which act as vital pillars for Singapore's stability and well-being.
