SAFRA Singapore Bay Run & Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 

As part of our continuous efforts to promote a holistic and balanced lifestyle, DSO staff participated in the annual SAFRA Singapore Bay Run, and Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon held on 16 August 2009 and 6 December 2009 respectively.

In the SAFRA Singapore Bay Run, DSO fielded a total of 283 runners and emerged as champions in the Corporate Team Challenge with the highest participation rate amongst attending organisations. To top it off, DSO also placed 1st in the Corporate Mileage Challenge with a total distance of 3,454km.

At the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon, all of DSO's 263 runners put in stellar performances and won the Non-Profit Organisation Distance Challenge. The victory was especially sweet as it was an improvement over our 4th-place finish in 2008.
