Are you ready to RISE to our mission?

RISE (Research Collaboration, Internship, Sponsorship, Experience) is a learning journey specially designed to nurture outstanding undergraduates and immerse them into the exciting realm of scientific research and explore their passion in R&D.

If you’re a young aspiring scientist, this is an opportunity for you to work alongside some of our nation’s top experts in defence science and technology in Singapore’s first and largest dedicated R&D organisation.

DSO partners the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and National University of Singapore (NUS) on the Undergraduate Research Experience on Campus (URECA) programme and Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (UROP), respectively.

Undergraduates under these programmes will get to work with both their university professors, as well as DSO’s scientists and engineers.
