The Air Platform Enhancement Project marks a significant milestone in the indigenous development and operationalisation of strategic technologies to enhance the operational effectiveness of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).

After more than 15 years of intensive research and development, the Air Platform Enhancement Project Team has built up the tools, techniques and infrastructure to upgrade existing air platforms, and equip these with new capabilities that provide critical operational advantage in the battlefield.

In recognition of the successful development and operationalisation of strategic technologies to enhance the SAF’s operational effectiveness, the Air Platform Enhancement Team is awarded the DTP2007 (R&D) Team Award.
