Dr Geoffrey Tan is a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff from DSO National Laboratories. Over the years, he has designed and developed several advanced and innovative energetic systems for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). Geoffrey has also spearheaded the development of critical test facilities for energetic systems to ensure their safety and effectiveness.

For his outstanding achievements and contributions to Singapore’s defence, Dr Geoffrey Tan is awarded the 2009 Individual Defence Technology Prize for Research and Development.
