Mr Philip Chan is instrumental in the development of capabilities in Electronic Defence and Sensors in MINDEF.

Under his leadership, the strong foundation built up has contributed significantly to the SAF’s operational capabilities.

For his outstanding leadership and contributions to Singapore’s defence, Mr Chan is awarded the 2008 Individual Defence Technology Prize for Engineering.
