Scholars under the DSTA scholarship can choose to undertake
a career in defence R&D at DSO. We offer exciting
opportunities for individuals to work in one of the
many laboratories or programmes in DSO. The range and
diversity of R&D work available is unmatched in
any company or research institution in Singapore. In
addition to this, the immense satisfaction comes from
making a difference to the defence and security of our
nation.
Alternatively, you can choose to take up a career in
defence technology engineering at DSTA, where you will
enjoy diverse challenges in areas such as systems engineering,
information technology, construction and engineering
support. You could also work for defence technology
organisations such as MINDEF departments and the SAF,
the Center for Strategic Infocomm Technologies, and
even Temasek Laboratories in both NUS and NTU.
