DSO offers undergraduates an opportunity to experience
life as a defence scientist or engineer. As our past
interns would attest, there is never a dull moment working
at DSO. Internship at DSO is enriched with technical
challenges, excitement and comradeship whether you are
working with us on a 12-week, 24-week or 30-week internship.
You will work alongside our research scientists and
engineers to develop capabilities in areas such as guided
systems; command, control and communications (C3); sensor
systems and signal processing; electronic warfare, advanced
electronics and advanced materials; and biomedical,
human sciences, chemical-biological defence and environmental
protection.
DSO has many collaborations with research laboratories in Singapore and around the world. Leveraging on these relationship, outstanding undergraduates could also be selected to undergo their internships overseas from 2007. Undergraduates can look forward to exciting internships in non-English speaking countries like France and Sweden. DSO undergraduate scholars would be given opportunities for these overseas internships. This is an exciting new option to DSO’s already acclaimed local internship programme.
