DSO's researchers find that university campuses are great places to discover new young talent brimming with fresh ideas. After amassing knowledge in the initial years in university, here's a chance for aspiring researchers to contribute and investigate their ideas with DSO's researchers who value new ideas as much as they do. The DSO RISE Programme offers a great opportunity to undergraduates to obtain a realistic preview into the work and career of a defence researcher.
The RISE programme comprises 3 key integrated components that span 3 years of a typical undergraduate engineering programme. These components are:

I nternship Programme
S pOnsorship for Aspiring Researchers (SOAR), which amalgamate into an
E xperience of excitement and discovery of DSO as an organization, its work and culture, and oneself. During this period, undergraduates who clock 12 months of research time have a chance to join DSO as a full-time staff.
