Study and Design of a Very High Performance FPGA-based Pulse Compression Filter

Discipline: Low Power Digital Electronics

Project Description:
The project aims to study the algorithm and design of a large FFT points FPGA-based pulse matched filter core.

The challenge of the project will have to consider the design trade-offs and technical issues e.g multiple operational modes, dynamic range performance, speed, power and ability to utilize minimum resources in FPGA.

Pre-requisite:
Interest in algorithm development, basic programming skill in MATLAB and VHDL coding
