Interface Design for Controlling Multiple Robots

Discipline: Mechanical Eng, Industrial Systems / Human Factors Eng, Mechanical Eng (Design Specialisation)

The project aims to:
Design innovative ways of controlling multiple robots. The student will first review existing literature before coming out with innovative designs on ways to manage multiple robots. Experiments will be carried out to determine the effectiveness of his/her design.

The challenge of the project:
To explore innovative UI ideas to effectively allow a human operator/team of operators to control multiple robots.

Pre-requisite:
Interest in graphical user interfaces. Knowledge of flash (action script) will be preferred.
