Targets Detection Using Multi-static Radar

Discipline: Radar, Digital Signal Processing, Mathematics

Project Description:
Multi-static radar uses transmitters and receivers physically spaced apart. Using these transmitters and receivers together, targets can be detected at further ranges and with higher probabilities as compared to conventional monostatic radar. A previous NTU intern student has developed an algorithm to detect targets using bistatic radar. This project will further develop the algorithm to allow detection of targets using mulit-static radar.

The project aims to:
Detect targets using multi-static radar.

The challenge of the project:
Develop signal processing algorithm for target detection using multi-static radar.

Pre-requisite:
Strong interest in algorithm development and research work, basic programming skill in MATLAB
