Participants of the Young Defence Scientists Programme (YDSP) 2011 had the opportunity to showcase their projects and share their experiences at the annual YDSP Congress 2012.
Held on 28 March 2012, the Congress is the culminating event for the YDSP activities held in 2011. In 2011, the YDSP attracted the participation of over 400 students in activities that challenge them to think out of the box. The YDSP Congress celebrates their spirit of innovation and provides a glimpse of some of their ingenious ideas and projects.
Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen was the Guest of Honour at the Congress, and presented YDSP Scholarship and Academic Awards to 90 students for academic excellence.
