Project Description : Small UAVs usually do not have landing gears due to physical limits and operation constraints. The objective of this project is to develop safe and effective UAV recovery methods to meet specified requirements.
The student shall investigate various existing recovery methods and propose innovative solutions through creative designs, critical analysis, modelling and simulations, and even experimental prototypes. Promising designs can be validated. The students may also choose to study the overall recovery system including recovery device designs and sensor to be used.
