Study of Bias Registration in a Sensor Network

Project Description :
Typically in a sensor, there will be bias and errors in the sensing measurements. Imagine many sensors in a sensor network trying to sense and measure with their individual biases. This will be a problem in terms of the accuracy of the measurements.

The objective of this project is to study the effect of biases of individual sensors on a sensor network. This project requires the intern to do literature research on the various sensor network architectures, protocols and bias registration problem. The intern will then model the biases and subsequently implement the sensor network in this environment.

The final phase of the project will require the intern to run some experiments and analyse the impact of biases on sensor networks.
