Project Description :
Energy dependency on crude oil has been proven to be detrimental to our country’s economy and being in the tropics, we are poised to be able to tap onto the abundance of solar power for both civilian and military application. Currently, commercial solar cells’ efficiency has a limitation of no more than the mid teens. The focus of this project is to make use of higher efficiency solar cells and apply them for MEMS sensors application. Students are expected to gain both practical skills and technical knowledge in clean energy technology.

Pre-requisite :
Potential candidates must be able to work independently and possess strong interest in “green technology”.
