SAFMC Frequently Asked Questions
In view of the COVID-19 social distancing requirements, would like to ask how will the competition be conducted?
In response to the COVID-19 situation and MOE Safe Management Measures (SMM), there are limited numbers of people allowed on site. Therefore, the SAFMC 2022 presentations will be held online and its challenges will be held physically in the Singapore Expo premises.
As per the SMM guidelines, limited numbers of people allowed on site, the SAFMC 2022 will involve 2 stages. The first stage of the competition requires the participating teams to submit the Pre-Challenge & Learning Journey video submission and the online presentation session, which serves as a qualification round to move on to the next stage of the challenge competition.
The next stage of the competition will include a physical challenge at Singapore EXPO Convention & Exhibition Centre (Singapore EXPO) which is the usual way SAFMC is conducted in the previous years.
Teams are encouraged to give equal attention to all aspects of the competition. The top team from each category will be presented with an award at the SAFMC 2022 Awards Presentation Ceremony
Please refer to the respective Category Challenge Booklets for more details on the competition requirements.
